A docu-series about small businesses in the Mission district of San Francisco. The Mission District needed to re-establish it’s identity as the area was rapidly evolving. The businesses that once anchored the district were getting lost in the changes that originally defined the Mission. Crosscut created a video docu-series featuring the small businesses that defined and rooted the Mission District. The series give an insider look into their worlds and told their stories and displayed their products and services. Foot traffic increased considerably which translated into improved retail sales as the video stories drove interest.
